The Kingdom Of God

The Kingdom Of Heaven

The Kingdom Of God

A good place to start our study, Understand The Kingdom Of God,  is to look at Paulís teaching on Marriage and Christian Service

(1 Cor 7:25 NKJV) Now concerning virgins: I have no commandment from the Lord; yet I give judgment as one whom the Lord in His mercy has made trustworthy.

(1 Cor 7:26 NKJV) I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress; that it is good for a man to remain as he is:

(1 Cor 7:27 NKJV) Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? Do not seek a wife.

(1 Cor 7:28 NKJV) But even if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned.
Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you.

(1 Cor 7:29 NKJV)
But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

(1 Cor 7:30 NKJV) those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,

(1 Cor 7:31 NKJV) and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.

(1 Cor 7:32 NKJV) But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord; how he may please the Lord.

(1 Cor 7:33 NKJV)
But he who is married cares about the things of the world; how he may please his wife.

(1 Cor 7:34 NKJV)
There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world; how she may please her husband.

(1 Cor 7:35 NKJV)
And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction.

(1 Cor 7:36 NKJV) But if any man thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of youth, and thus it must be, let him do what he wishes. He does not sin; let them marry.

(1 Cor 7:37 NKJV) Nevertheless he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so determined in his heart that he will keep his virgin,
does well.

(1 Cor 7:38 NKJV)
So then he who gives her in marriage does well, but he who does not give her in marriage does better.

(1 Cor 7:39 NKJV) A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord.

(1 Cor 7:40 NKJV) But she is happier if she remains as she is, according to my judgment; and I think I also have the Spirit of God.

Paul, in the 15 verses we have just read,  sums up all that God has put in my heart to teach on this web page.  Paul through the Spirit of God, make it so clear.  It is like being hit in the head with a baseball bat.  You get the point. The problem is you get the point if and only if you are walking in the Spirit, and not in the flesh.  What is the point?  It is what Jesus taught as He walked the earth.  The new covenant,  the new walk for  His new Body, out of Jesus' own mouth, His own Words,

(Mat 4:19 NKJV) Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Jesus said (Mat 6:33 NKJV) "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

What is the Kingdom of God,  Men,  the gathering of men.  Building The Kingdom of God is the gathering of men, women, youth and children to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

If and when we get the focus for our life right, seeking the Kingdom of God,  fishing for men,  then God will add daily to our lives the things of this world we need to be good fishers.

(1 Cor 7:28 NKJV) But even if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you.

The trouble when we are walking in the flesh is described in the following verses

(1 Cor 7:32 NKJV) But I want you to be without care.

The flesh causes us to care about the things of this world.

He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord; how he may please the Lord.

God wants us to be centered on what Paul refers to as  the things of the Lord.   The things of the Lord are doing what it takes, at all cost, to bring as many individuals in to The Kingdom of God as possible.

(1 Cor 7:33 NKJV) But he who is married cares about the things of the world; how he may please his wife.

(1 Cor 7:34 NKJV) There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world; how she may please her husband.

(1 Cor 7:35 NKJV) And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction.

There are two very important points  in verse 35. The first is that it is God's desire that we serve Him the Lord without distraction.

(1 Cor 7:28 NKJV) But even if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you.

The trouble that Paul is concerned about that is found in verse 28 is the distractions form all out seeking the kingdom of God.

The second point that is made in verse 35  is found in the statement "And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you". This second point is  also referred to in the last half of verse 28,  "but I would spare you". The profit that Paul is talking about is gaining Heavenly Treasure which is our profit or reward for building The Kingdom of God. What he wants to spare us from is the distraction of the the lust of the eyes, the lust of the world, the pride of life and the force of greed.

The answer for the married and unmarried is described so very clearly in in verses 29, 30 & 31.  Please read them again

(1 Cor 7:29 NKJV) But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,

(1 Cor 7:30 NKJV) those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess,

(1 Cor 7:31 NKJV) and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.

How are we to live? "So that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none".

I is so very important that we do not let the powerful truth that is in verse 31 slip from our hearts.  "Those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.

We all must use to some degree the things of this world as we work to build the Kingdom of  God.  But we must always keep in mind that at our judgment we will be tried as by fire.  The things that God has given each of us are,  the words of our mouth, the time that we have and the possessions that He allows to come in to our lives.

How  you use each of these to build the Kingdom Of God are the works of your life. We are here to build the Kingdom Of God,   Yet we have been lead to believe it is ok to spend much time, much of of our efforts, much of our money on building our own  worldly kingdom.  It is not pointed out to us that all this time effort and money we put in to our worldly kingdom is wood, hay and stubble ," For the form of this world is passing away.

(Mat 12:36 KJV)  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Every moment of every second we will give an account of.  The judgment that we will face will be based on which kingdom we where building with all that God had given us.  Were we building our own worldly kingdom or the Kingdom of God. The judgment will be by fire and all the that we used to build the Kingdom of God is the gold, silver and precious stone which will be purified by the fire,  All that we use to build our earthly kingdom is that wood, hay and stubble at our judgment.

(1 Cor 3:12 KJV)  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

(1 Cor 3:13 KJV)  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

(1 Cor 3:14 KJV)  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

(1 Cor 3:15 KJV)  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

These works are divided in two categories.

(1)  Self and stuff which will fall into the wood, hay and stubble category. These are the works that are ultiMately worthless.

(2)  God and others which will fall into the gold, silver and precious stones category.

Those works that benefited God and others are the works that are valuable and enduring.  .

If you will study the words spoken by Jesus, how he used His time,  how He used the things of this world and what He taught us to do with the same, you will know the will of God for your existence on this earth

(Mat 12:36 KJV)  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Because time to serve Christ is short, all should live for Him in every circumstance of life.  The last thing that I want to mention here is that I have heard that this teaching was just of the Corinthians and the special situation that they were in.  The Word of God is for now, the new testament is for now, our eternal reward is on the line, we must stop being influenced by those that serve this world.   Please be aware that the Laodicean church is alive and well and the leader of  the Laodicean church are screaming louder than ever before.  Their bless me lord messages have deceived so many, robbed so many of much heavenly treasure.  Come out from among them and be ye separate. Seek ye the Kingdom of God.  Fill up to running over your heavenly treasure treasure chest. This world and all of its stuff is so very soon going to pass away.  If married get with your Mate and get a game plan to start making many deposits in to your heavenly account.  It single,  build build build to your eternal future.

The Kingdom Of Heaven

Who Is A Part Of The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 4:17 KJV) From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

All that here the Word and receive Jesus will enter into the Kingdom of God will enter into the Kingdom Of Heaven.

How thankful are we that are a part of the Kingdom of God that we will enter the Kingdom of Heaven

The Kingdom of Heaven will be

(Mat 5:3 KJV)  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 5:4 KJV)  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

(Mat 5:5 KJV)  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

(Mat 5:6 KJV)  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

(Mat 5:7 KJV)  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

(Mat 5:8 KJV)  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

(Mat 5:9 KJV)  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

(Mat 5:10 KJV)  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 5:11 KJV)  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

(Mat 5:12 KJV)  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

(Mat 5:13 KJV)  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

There will be the least and the greatest in the Kingdome of Heaven.  There are those that think they are on the way to the Kingdom of Heaven that will not enter end.

(Mat 5:19 NKJV) "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 5:20 NKJV) "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 7:21 NKJV) "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

I would have much rather spent the last twenty years setting under a preacher that demonstrated and taught me too  (Phil 2:12 NKJV) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;  But for me unfortunately I spent much time under  pastors that demonstrated and taught me to seek a bless me lord god.  Thanks to God I was protected from gaining the wealth that this world has to offer. In seeking God for the why me Lord questions to all that went wrong in gaining worldly wealth,  God has greatly blessed me in the truth of the Word. What you receive from what is taught on this web site,  must be based on what the Lord reveals to your heart,  from the Word.  What is important here is not what I think and believe, it is what the Holy Spirit of God reveals to your heart from the Word.

One suggestion I will make here "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven".   I would strongly suggest getting in the four Gospels and let Jesus teach you the will of God for your personal walk on this earth. If you are setting under a Laodicean pastor, please do not listen to the lies any longer.  There is a dying world out there that needs you to die to yourself and let Jesus live in you to touch the lives of the lost and needy in the world around you.

When Is The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 3:1 KJV)  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

(Mat 3:2 KJV)  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The kingdom of heaven is now and has always been and will always will be.

(Mat 13:44 NKJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

(Mat 13:45 NKJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

(Mat 13:46 NKJV) "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

(Mat 13:47 NKJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

(Mat 13:48 NKJV) "which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.

(Mat 13:49 NKJV) "So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,

(Mat 13:50 NKJV) "and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

Where Is The Kingdom Of Heaven

What Is The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 4:23 KJV)  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

How Do You Become A Part Of The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 13:44 KJV)  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

(Mat 13:45 KJV)  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

(Mat 13:46 KJV)  Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

(Mat 13:47 KJV)  Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

(Mat 13:48 KJV)  Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

(Mat 13:49 KJV)  So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

(Mat 13:50 KJV)  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

(Mat 13:51 KJV)  Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

(Mat 13:52 KJV)  Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

The Great And The Small, The Rich And The Poor In The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 5:19 KJV)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Those Who Will Not Be A Part Of The Kingdom Of Heaven

(Mat 5:20 KJV)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 7:21 KJV)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

(Mat 7:22 KJV)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23 KJV)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Mat 8:11 KJV)  And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 8:12 KJV)  But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Understanding The Kingdom Of God

A good place to start our study, Understand The Kingdom Of God,  is to look at Paulís teaching on Marriage and Christian Service

(1 Cor 7:25 KJV)  Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

(1 Cor 7:26 KJV)  I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

(1 Cor 7:27 KJV)  Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

(1 Cor 7:28 KJV)  But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

The trouble in the flesh is described in verses 33 & 34.  The trouble that Paul is concerned about is the distractions form seeking the kingdom of God.  The answer for the married and unmarried is described in verse 31.  We all must use to some degree the things of this world as we work to serve God.  But we must always keep in mind that at our judgment we will be tried as by fire.  The gifts that God has given you are the words of your mouth, the time that you have and the possessions that He allows to come in to our lives.  How  you use each of these in everything that you do are the works of your life.

(1 Cor 3:12 KJV)  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

Those works that are valuable and enduring.  .

If you will study the words spoken by Jesus, how he used His time,  how He used the things of this world and what He taught us to do with the same, you will know the will of God for your existence on this earth

1 Cor 3:15:  Vs. 3:15  suffer loss. I.e., of reward not salvation, as is made clear in the latter part of the verse.

1 Cor 3:14:  Vs. 3:14  reward. Salvation is a free gift, but rewards, for those who are saved, are earned. The quality of our service (v. 13) is the criterion. Rewards are often spoken of as crowns (cf. 9:25; 1 Thess. 2:19; 2 Tim. 4:8; James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; Rev. 2:10; 3:11; 4:4, 10).

The prayers we offer,  (Mat 12:36 KJV)  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Mat 12:36:  Vs. 12:36  careless = useless.

(1 Cor 7:29 KJV)  But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

Because time to serve Christ is short, all should live for Him in every circumstance of life.

(1 Cor 7:30 KJV)  And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

(1 Cor 7:31 KJV)  And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

(1 Cor 7:32 KJV)  But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

(1 Cor 7:33 KJV)  But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

(1 Cor 7:34 KJV)  There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

(1 Cor 7:35 KJV)  And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

(1 Cor 7:36 KJV)  But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

(1 Cor 7:37 KJV)  Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

(1 Cor 7:38 KJV)  So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.
