Scriptures To Run Your Business By

Today is Feb 20th 2005.  God has only put this in my heart to do in the past few days.  I believe this will be one of the most important parts of this whole web teaching.  I will complete it as time allows and as God reveals to me the scriptures to use and teach.

If you are a Christian business owner and you have read the previous page and you clicked to this page, it is the power of the Holy Spirit of God that has brought you here to here the next truth that I will share.  I do not know that you believe that God is in control of every step that we take, maybe you do or maybe you do not,  but please, at least read the next scriptures and then read the brief explanation that follows. We are in the final moments of the Dispensation Of Grace.  The Rapture Of The Church and the period of The Great Tribulation is standing in the door way of time waiting for the nod from the Father.

If you want to be a part of the latter day rain of the Holy Spirit, its now.  To read and understand the following scriptures  will give you that opportunity. These scriptures offer a simple truth,  so do not think that you are about to read some new and great revelation.

There are several scriptures here and you need to read them several several time.  So let your computer read them to you.

(Mat 19:16 NKJV) Now behold, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"

(Mat 19:17 NKJV) So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

(Mat 19:18 NKJV) He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,'

(Mat 19:19 NKJV) 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"

(Mat 19:20 NKJV) The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?"

(Mat 19:21 NKJV) Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

(Mat 19:22 NKJV) But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

(Mat 19:23 NKJV) Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

(Mat 19:24 NKJV) "And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

(Mat 19:25 NKJV) When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?"

(Mat 19:26 NKJV) But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

(Luke 12:13 NKJV) Then one from the crowd said to Him, "Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me."

(Luke 12:14 NKJV) But He said to him, "Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?"

(Luke 12:15 NKJV) And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."

(Luke 12:16 NKJV) Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.

(Luke 12:17 NKJV) "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?'

(Luke 12:18 NKJV) "So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.

(Luke 12:19 NKJV) 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."'

(Luke 12:20 NKJV) "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'

(Luke 12:21 NKJV) "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

(Luke 12:22 NKJV) Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.

(Luke 12:23 NKJV) "Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

(Luke 12:24 NKJV) "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?

(Luke 12:25 NKJV) "And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

(Luke 12:26 NKJV) "If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?

(Luke 12:27 NKJV) "Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

(Luke 12:28 NKJV) "If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

(Luke 12:29 NKJV) "And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.

(Luke 12:30 NKJV) "For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.

(Luke 12:31 NKJV) "But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

(Luke 12:32 NKJV) "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

(Luke 12:33 NKJV) "Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.

(Luke 12:34 NKJV) "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

(Luke 12:35 NKJV) "Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;

The simple truth that Jesus is teaching here is,

It is not about this world and it's stuff.

It is not about money and the things of this world money can buy.

It is not about you or me and our success, or dreams, or our needs, wants or desires.

It is about dying to ourselves and allowing Jesus to live his life through us.

It is about others and serving other with our time, talent and money.

It is about knowing that God expects us to serve other with the same action and heart we service our self, but much greater than that, with the same action and heart we service Him.

You are here to to build the Kingdom Of God,  not your own personal kingdom.  The following scriptures will tell you how to make that happen.

(Mat 18:15 NKJV) "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

(Mat 18:16 NKJV) "But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.'

(2 Cor 13:1 NKJV) This will be the third time I am coming to you. "By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established."

From studying the gospels I have come to the concussion that if you use any brother's life to provide for your self a better financial return than you provide for that brother, you will either deemed by God as a Laodician church member and be vomited from the mouth of God.

(Rev 3:15 NKJV) "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

(Rev 3:16 NKJV) "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

(Rev 3:17 NKJV) "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;

If you do enter the gates of heaven you will serve ever man that you used to provide for your self a better rate of return than you were willing to give him through out all eternity.

Sense we are talking about all eternity here,

if I were you and you have used other to provide for your self a better rate of return than you were willing to give, I think I would at least go through the scriptures in this study to make sure the way I am living lines up with what Jesus taught

(Mat 20:25 NKJV) But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.

(Mat 20:26 NKJV) "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

(Mat 20:27 NKJV) "And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave;

(Mat 20:28 NKJV) "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

(Mark 10:42 NKJV) But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, "You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

(Mark 10:43 NKJV) "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

(Mark 10:44 NKJV) "And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all.

(Mark 10:45 NKJV) "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

(John 13:1 NKJV) Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
(John 13:2 NKJV) And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him,
(John 13:3 NKJV) Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,
(John 13:4 NKJV) rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself.
(John 13:5 NKJV) After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.
(John 13:6 NKJV) Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, "Lord, are You washing my feet?"
(John 13:7 NKJV) Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this."
(John 13:8 NKJV) Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
(John 13:9 NKJV) Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!"
(John 13:10 NKJV) Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."

Peter understood who Jesus was, and Peter understood who he was,  that is why he was objecting so much.

If you ever wish to have to opportunity to even come close to me what Jesus wants you to me, you must have a deep spiritual understanding of Him

Knowing Jesus

To be continued

(Acts 2:41 NKJV) Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

(Acts 2:42 NKJV) And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

(Acts 2:43 NKJV) Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

(Acts 2:44 NKJV) Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,

(Acts 2:45 NKJV) and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

(Acts 2:46 NKJV) So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

(Acts 2:47 NKJV) praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

(Acts 4:27 NKJV) "For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together

(Acts 4:28 NKJV) "to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

(Acts 4:29 NKJV) "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,

(Acts 4:30 NKJV) "by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."

(Acts 4:31 NKJV) And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

(Acts 4:32 NKJV) Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

(Acts 4:33 NKJV) And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

The Attitude of the Heart

(Eph 4:11 NKJV) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
(Eph 4:12 NKJV) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
(Eph 4:13 NKJV) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
(Eph 4:14 NKJV) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
(Eph 4:15 NKJV) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head; Christ;
(Eph 4:16 NKJV) from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
(Eph 4:17 NKJV) This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,
(Eph 4:18 NKJV) having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;
(Eph 4:19 NKJV) who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
(Eph 4:20 NKJV) But you have not so learned Christ,
(Eph 4:21 NKJV) if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
(Eph 4:22 NKJV) that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,
(Eph 4:23 NKJV) and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
(Eph 4:24 NKJV) and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
(Eph 4:25 NKJV) Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
(Eph 4:26 NKJV) "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
(Eph 4:27 NKJV) nor give place to the devil.
(Eph 4:28 NKJV) Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.
(Eph 4:29 NKJV) Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
(Eph 4:30 NKJV) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(Eph 4:31 NKJV) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.
(Eph 4:32 NKJV) And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
(Eph 5:1 NKJV) Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

Every member of the body of Christ

Please notice the return to the Lord Generated.

The old testament ten percent Jesus never taught.

The return in these scriptures He did teach.

It is all about serving God and others and not about self and the things of this world.

(Mat 13:8 NKJV) "But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

(Mat 13:9 NKJV) "He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

(Mat 25:14 NKJV) "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.

(Mat 25:15 NKJV) "And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

(Mat 25:16 NKJV) "Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.

(Mat 25:17 NKJV) "And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.

(Mat 25:18 NKJV) "But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money.

(Mat 25:19 NKJV) "After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.

(Mat 25:20 NKJV) "So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.'

(Mat 25:21 NKJV) "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

(Mat 25:22 NKJV) "He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.'

(Mat 25:23 NKJV) "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

(Mat 25:24 NKJV) "Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

(Mat 25:25 NKJV) 'And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.'

(Mat 25:26 NKJV) "But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.

(Mat 25:27 NKJV) 'So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.

(Mat 25:28 NKJV) 'Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

(Mat 25:29 NKJV) 'For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

(Mat 25:30 NKJV) 'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

(Mat 13:45 NKJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,

(Mat 13:46 NKJV) "who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

(Mat 13:44 NKJV) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

1 Tim 5:17 NKJV) Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.

(1 Tim 5:18 NKJV) For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain," and, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."

(1 Tim 5:19 NKJV) Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses.

If you ever wish to have the opportunity to even come close to seeing what Jesus wants you to be, you must have a deep spiritual understanding of Him

(Eph 4:11 NKJV) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
(Eph 4:12 NKJV) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
(Eph 4:13 NKJV) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
(Eph 4:14 NKJV) that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
(Eph 4:15 NKJV) but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head; Christ;
(Eph 4:16 NKJV) from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
(Eph 4:17 NKJV) This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind,
(Eph 4:18 NKJV) having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;
