Body Of Christ Leaders & Pastor's Challenge

As a leader in the body of Christ, you must recognize all that has been said about the last days being upon us will come as a thief in the night to many believing The Lie.  This lie is explained so clearly in the Word.

satan's deception has robbed many and will continue to rob many of much Heavenly Treasure Unless the trumpet is heard.

In the Very Near Future.

The Lie will cost many,

much more than anyone was willing to pay.

But it will be to late.

Please Stand On The Wall And

Sound The Trumpet!

The Lie!

Many Christians in the U.S. have been taught and believe that being blessed by God means gaining a lot of Material stuff for ones own personal use.

This is what they have been taught and

this is what they have seen demonstrated to them.

A Christian that has achieved any standard of worldly prosperity,  stands at the door of very serious judgment as stated in the following scriptures;

(Rev 3:14 KJV) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Rev 3:15 KJV) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

(Rev 3:16 KJV) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

(Rev 3:17 KJV) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

(Rev 3:18 KJV) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(Rev 3:20 KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

(Rev 3:21 KJV) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

(Rev 3:22 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Any level of Prosperity achieved can be of benefit to a Christian

only

if that individual is able to receive and walk in the light of the following scripture;

(Gal 2:20 KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Material stuff is only a blessing when used to gain Heavenly Treasure. We gain Heavenly Treasure through personally spreading the Gospel and personally in the Name Of Jesus meet the needs of others.

God does expect us to use part of what He gives us to provide for our personal needs and the need of our families.  But this providing will fall within the scope of what Jesus taught while He walked the earth.

Before Reading The Following Scriptures, Just Try To Imagine What We,  The Body Of Christ In The U.S. Could Have Accomplished With The Wealth That God Has So Abundantly Given Us.  What If We Would Have Taken Jesus Literally In The Following Statements He Made? How Different Would This Country Be Today,  If Our Country Would Have Experienced The Real Presents Of Jesus In Us.

 This Presents Can only Be Brought To Life In Obeying The Following Commandments He Clearly Gave Us?

(Mat 6:19 KJV) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

(Mat 6:20 KJV) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

(Mat 6:21 KJV) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

(Mat 6:22 KJV) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

(Mat 6:23 KJV) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

(Mat 6:24 KJV) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (God or Money and Stuff)

(Mat 6:25 KJV) Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

(Mat 6:26 KJV) Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

(Mat 6:27 KJV) Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

(Mat 6:28 KJV) And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

(Mat 6:29 KJV) And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

(Mat 6:30 KJV) Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

(Mat 6:31 KJV) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(Mat 6:32 KJV) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

(Mat 6:33 KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

 Why do you think Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God?   Once a true Christian understands what the kingdom of God is,  His focus will be on gaining heavenly treasure as taught in the Word, not misusing the blessings that God has given him.    BLESSINGS FROM GOD. are to enable a Christian to have opportunity to gain heavenly treasure.

(Mat 6:34 KJV) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

If one who studies the Bible really understands who and what Jesus is,  it is not hard to understand that Jesus was quite capable of saying exactly what He meant while on the earth.  He was quite clear in pointing out that there is now a big difference in His plan for His Body, the New Church,  as there was for the Jews in the Old Testament.

Our flesh is much more interested in what it meant to be blessed in the Old Testament than what it means to be blessed in  the New Testament.  Simply look at what sets in your church parking lot on Sunday Morning.  Follow home anyone in your church that has experienced any amount of financial success,  it is very easy to recognize what is most important to them as to the use of their financial success.  Most have no clue as to what it means to give all.  Look at your members tithing history,  we the church struggle coming close to the old testament 10%.  Start preaching the new testament all, and you will experience what Jesus experienced in the following scriptures.

(John 6:53 KJV) Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

(John 6:54 KJV) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

(John 6:55 KJV) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

(John 6:56 KJV) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

(John 6:57 KJV) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

(John 6:58 KJV) This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

(John 6:66 KJV) From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
(How Interesting The Chapter and verse
  666)

         Jesus focus while on earth and now through His Body the Church is the same.

Just as His battle with His flesh in the garden of Gethsemane resulted in Him submitting to the will of God,  our battle with our flesh must also result in us surrendering to His will as pointed out so clearly in what He taught while on this earth.

NO, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS IN THE HEART OF ANY CHRISTIAN.

BUT YOU AND I BOTH CAN WATCH WHAT IS ON OUR TV'S.  WE CAN SEE THE CONDITION OF OUR SCHOOL SYSTEM.  WE KNOW HOW LONG THE ABORTION ISSUE HAS GONE ON.  WE CAN SEE THE NEW ACCEPTANCE OF THE HOMOSEXUAL MOVEMENT IN OUR COUNTRY.  AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.

With the numbers of Christians that are in this country and the wealth that God has so freely given us,  if we would have listened and obeyed  what Christ taught, while He walked the earth,

things would have turned out much different for our country.

Unfortunately, we have been using much of our time and effort to create the lifestyle the world seeks after to show  their success.  We have been seeking the things of this world,

Along With This World.

Simply put,  being blessed in  the Old Testament meant obeying the law which resulted in  receiving God's covering for sin, His protection and His blessing through Material gain.

What it means to be blessed in  the New Testament is to die to self and the need for Material gain for our own personal use.

To walk in the Spirit is to  allow Jesus to live through us. As He lives through us we will see the same results as we can clearly see when we study His life as He walked the earth, serving God and others.

Jesus was not into stuff and stuff and more stuff,  He was into preaching and teaching and healing and delivering, and helping and giving and doing for others.  As He did these things He was continually teaching us to do the same.

Why would our life style be different than that of Christ as He walked the earth if;

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me".

What it means to be blessed in the New Testament is, being given by God much access

to all types of this world's stuff,

and then be given  much opportunity to  use that stuff to gain much Heavenly Treasure.

This is so easy to see in the Word, for anyone, if one is willing to see the truth.

As a leader in the Body of Christ, have you missed opportunities to demonstrate the lifestyle of gaining Heavenly Treasure, and of encouraging others to do the same?
