 A Christian Warrior Lives To

Gain Heavenly Treasure

To understand this spiritual truth you must come out from among the world and the things of this world,  thus the back ground theme of this site.  So in the spirit, allow yourself to come out of the world and let God show you how to see this World as He sees it.

This world and the things of this world that man has created will blind you to the truth about what is important to God.

(Luke 16:15 NKJV) And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

What Is Important To God Is That We Do His Will On This Earth.

What is God's Will, That we build His Kingdom.

How do we build His Kingdom. We build the kingdom of God By conforming to the image of Christ.  Paul said " It is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me.

As we conform to the image of Christ,

we will Spread the Gospel and meet the needs of others.

When We Do This  We Gain Treasure For Heaven.

So how important is gaining Heavenly Treasure?

After being born again  and understand the following truths about being a Christian;

  • Understanding that being a Christian is having a personal relationship

  • with God Almighty Him Self by accepting Jesus as your personal Savior. .

  • Jesus

  • Knowing that our righteousness and holiness can not be earned, but it is a gift to us through Jesus Christ the only begotten Son Of God.  Understanding that our righteousness and holiness is based on Jesus' death on the cross and His resurrection by the power of God the Father and God the Holy Spirit,  .

  • Understand that our works to gain Heavenly Treasure are;

    • A result of being born again,

    • Motivated by our relationship with God,

    • Driven by the receiving of the free gift of righteousness and holiness through accepting the works of Jesus on the cross.

After a Christian understands these basic spiritual truths,  then and only then can it really be understood what is meant by the following statement.

After being born again, gaining Heavenly Treasure is the reason God allows you to stay on this earth.

When we die we will autoMatically be instantly conformed to the  total image of Christ, that can not completely happen on this earth.

What we can not do when we get to heaven is gain any more heavenly treasure.

Going to heaven is one thing. Acquiring the rewards that will be waiting for each individual Christianís arrival is a whole different story.

God reveals Him Self to this world through His children as they reach out to others sharing His Love.  As we share His love as He directs us through the Bible, His Holy Word,  we gain Heavenly Treasure.

satan has done an excellent job hiding this truth from the Body of Christ.  Loses to the Body of Christ can never be regained, they are gone forever. Gaining Heavenly Treasure is something that must be done this side of eternity.  Once an individual leaves this earth,  the rewards program that God has established for the Body of Christ is eternal history.

Jesus refers to this reward program as Seeking the Kingdom of God and providing for ones self a Treasure in Heaven

(Luke 12:31 NKJV)  "But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

(Luke 12:32 NKJV)  "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

(Luke 12:33 NKJV)  "Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.

(Luke 12:34 NKJV)  "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

In Jesusí teaching in Luke Chapter 12, He is trying to show the uselessness of Material gain for ones own personal use.  First he make the case as to how quickly Material gain for ones self will become meaningless.  ďBut God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have providedĒ.

(Luke 12:16 NKJV)  Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.

(Luke 12:17 NKJV)  "And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?'

(Luke 12:18 NKJV)  "So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.

(Luke 12:19 NKJV)  'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."'

(Luke 12:20 NKJV)  "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'

Jesus then continues His teaching by telling His disciples how important it is to be rich towards God.

(Luke 12:20 NKJV)  "But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?'

(Luke 12:21 NKJV)  "So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

He then spends much time explaining how unimportant it is to strive for Material gain.

(Luke 12:22 NKJV)  Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.

(Luke 12:23 NKJV)  "Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

(Luke 12:25 NKJV)  "And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

(Luke 12:26 NKJV)  "If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?

(Luke 12:27 NKJV)  "Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

(Luke 12:28 NKJV)  "If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

(Luke 12:29 NKJV)  "And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.

(Luke 12:30 NKJV)  "For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.

Until a Christian understands the importanceís of  gaining Heavenly Treasure and then how to gain Heavenly Treasure, he will be living an unfulfilled life.

A Christian that is living an unfulfilled life is satanís play ground.  That individual is open to every deception satan has in his arsenal.  satanís deceptions will always be centered around the lust of the eyes,  the lust of the flesh,  the pride of life, and the force of greed.  The moment that a Christian states that he is blessed and is referring to any Material gain for his own personal use, that individual has fallen into satanís deceptive trap.

Material gain is only a blessing when used to gain Heavenly Treasure.  God does expect us to use what we need from our Material gain to provide for our families and ourselves.  But we the church in the USA have been mislead and deceived by satanís messengers as they came disguised as angels of light displaying all their worldly stuff and telling us god wants us to have the same.   Yes their god is spelled with a little g.

If the things in this world that man spends so much time creating and trying to sale  are so important,  why is God going to do away with it all  at the end.

(Rev 21:1 NKJV) Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

I heard a sermon on the radio the other day by a very well know pastor and teacher in the U.S.  The message was one of profound truth.  If the hearts of Christians in my country could hear the message he shared and take it to heart, it would change the face of this country in a very short time.  This message shared that in the new testament, satan is said to work in two forms, as a roaring lion and as an angel of light.

(1 Pet 5:8 NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

(1 Pet 5:9 NKJV) Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

(2 Cor 11:13 NKJV) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.

(2 Cor 11:14 NKJV) And no wonder! For satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.

(2 Cor 11:15 NKJV) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

In the U.S. satan has come and is here as an angels of light.

The angels of light have turned the body of Christ away from the truth,  allowing the church to become desensitized to the sin that has infiltrated every part of our life. These angels of light have turned the focus of the church from service to other to Material gain for ones self.

Jesus taught that we are to daily crucify the flesh. That we are to turn away from the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and the force of greed.

(Luke 9:23 NKJV) Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

(Luke 9:24 NKJV) "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

(Luke 9:25 NKJV) "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?

What is meant by these three verses is that each morning we must roll out of bed on to the cross of self-crucifixion.  The  cross that we must take up daily is to daily crucify the the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and the force of greed. The cross of crucifixion is for a live body.  On this earth a live body is filled with the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life and the force of greed.  So the live body we live in must be daily put on the cross of self crucifixion.

satan's angels of light came telling us to gloriously take care of our flesh. We are to give the flesh the best the world has to offer.

If you preach and teach what Jesus preached and taught  you can not make the new testament say that. Jesus teaches die to self and give all,  just as He did. This new testament truth is made profoundly clear as He the Creator got on His Knees before His creation and Washed Their Feet.

(Please Read        To See Who Jesus Really Is)

Yet satanís angels of light will always come bearing the finest the world has to offer, much wonderful worldly stuff to impress your physical senses. They always promising much worldly stuff for ones own personal uses, which they refer to as the blessings of God.

satan angels of light have done a wonderful job of robbing the body of Christ of much Heavenly Treasure.  satan has used these massagers to create the deception that we the church need this worldís excess to take care of our flesh. The Bible teaches that we should daily crucify the flesh, not lusciously take care of it.

We the church in the USA have spent millions and millions on stuff and more stuff to satisfy the lust of the eyes,  the lust of the flesh,  the pride of life, and the force of greed.  We have been taught to call all this excess stuff we have used to comfort our flesh the blessings of God. the god of this world satan has a very simple objective.

This object is to keep you  caught up with this world and the gaining of this world's stuff so that you have little to nothing left to use to gain Heavenly Treasure.

If you could see the tithing record of the Body of Christ  in the USA,  you would be able to see the struggle individual Christians have coming  up with the old testament 10%.  You ask a Christian to consider the new testament giving of 30%,  60% and 100% and most US Christian would look at you like you are totally crazy.  For many Christians, the worldly life style that we live makes that kind of giving impossible, no Matter what the personal income is.

A Christian Warrior is one that has discerned the spiritual truth concerning gaining Heavenly Treasure.   That Warrior looks to the examples of other New Testament Warriors as to how to live his daily life. He starts first with the Life and Will Of Jesus,

(Gal 2:20 NKJV)  "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Then through the study of the New Testament, follows the examples of those God gave to direct the way of the New Testament Church.
