Chapter 10

If you are truly in Christ,

you can now

read the Word, Which is Christ,

as a part of the body of Christ, the family of God.

You will no longer intrepid the Word

as an individual

"bless me Lord"

fleshly Christian.

All blessings that we seek in Christ will be for the whole body, not for any one individual part.

Godís Promise of Prosperity

(3) And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

(9 NASB) "So keep the words of this covenant to do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

(2 NASB) Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in

good health, just as your soul prospers.

How To Live Prosperously,. Prudent Living.

Our current economic system tries to get us to spend all the money we make, Plus More on ourselves. That is how it survives, making and selling stuff. We as Christian do not have time nor the money to waste, supporting this eternally useless life style. We need to use only the things that we require for a moderate life style sustaining our personal needs and the needs of the body of Christ as one together. We need to lower cost of living. We do not need all the earthly stuff that the world spends billions telling us that we need.  The world exist and survives by selling stuff.  The standard of success of the world is based on how much stuff one possess.  We as Christians survives by giving as much of the world's stuff as we possibly can to others and to the spread of the gospel.  We are here to save and set free other, not serve our flesh with this worlds stuff in any way. Many Christians live the world definition of what it means to have an abundant life, not what Christ taught while He was on this earth.

Prov 24:6 is a very important Scripture!

(3 NIV) By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; (4 NIV) through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. (5 NIV) A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength; (6 NIV) for waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers.

Very important note

Every action that you take financially should be based on;

  1. Scriptural truths that you have received in your heart from God, Not from some man.
  2. Remember God reveals inforMation to us as to things we should do through the Word and in our hearts as we pray and seek Him. He then will confirm to us the things He has spoken to us through the Word and in our hearts through the counsel of others. What we get from man will always be confirMation not revelation. The preaching and teaching of the Word will enlighten us to the truths of the Word. We act on those truths through our own time and study as the Spirit of God moves in our hearts

Simply put, and for example, do not let any man tell you what to do with your time and money unless you here it from God first through the Word.  If you hear a man speak something that you have never heard before, that gets your attention,  act on what you have heard by get in the Word and on your knees before God.  God will then direct you to further action if needed.

  3. Godly counsel from many advisers you know are scriptural sound and you trust.

These Two Very Important Points Will Help You Make Wise Godly Decisions Rather Than Being lead to make Emotionally Fleshly Decisions and being wrongly influenced by others.

Wisdon From the Word

When we are willing to become an empty vessel to ourselves and be willing to continue asking ourselves this question,

"if it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me,  am I allowing Christ to be Himself in me",

we will then be on the path to removing earthly spots and ironing out the worldly wrinkles that separate us form living in God's perfect will.

I wonder what acts or actives that I do, that would be termed as a sluggard?

I wonder what part of my life I have neglected and

is now covered with thorns and weeds?

I wonder what stone walls of my heart are in ruin and

and all type of ungodly worldly garbage is able to enter in?

I wonder what actives that I do, keep me daily from the vineyard?

I wander what things I do that could be labeled "A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest", perhaps maybe TV would be one?

What do you think the vineyard is in the work of the Body of Christ?

30 NIV) I went past the field of the sluggard, past the vineyard of the man who lacks judgment; (31 NIV) thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. (32 NIV) I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw: (33 NIV) A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to restó(34 NIV) and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man.

In new testament terms, when we talk poverty, we are talking spiritual and heavenly poverty, not earthly poverty. If we obey Gods Word and walk the faith walk as the scriptures teach, work together as the ants, as God suggest, it is impossible for any member in body of Christ to suffer in earthly poverty or spiritual poverty.

(Prov 6:6 Ė 11 NKJV)

A rebuke to slothfulness

(7) Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, (8) Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. (9) How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? (10) A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep; (11) So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man.

The very day we become a funnel for God to use to supply the needs of others and the spread of the gospel, our heavenly bank account will abound and the windows of heaven will open to start the flow of Godís blessings and the church will become the church with out spot or wrinkle, abounding to every good work in Christ Jesus.

(25) "Then I will make up to you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
