Beginning March 2012 Training Champions will begin the development
of its new
Tumbling and Cheer/Exhibition Squad.
The purpose of this squad will be to continually enhance the
Tumbling and
Cheer Skills of each of our members.
The theme of our tumbling, cheer and dance program will be Christian
based
and will share with our audiences Christian values and beliefs.
As
we develop our level of performance we will continue to look
for
opportunities to perform in many types of settings, including church
youth groups,
public
and private schools and any appropriate public even such as parades
park
events.
As
our squad level improves we will consider entering cheerleader
competitions,
as
an additional activity. Competing will never be the main
focus of our squad.
The participation of each individual squad member pre event will be
based on
their individual skill level and the nature of
the event.
As
a general rule a student should be able to do a standing back
handspring and
round off back handspring on tramp 1 at TC.
